Just in case you wanted three DPS and two tanks…

Gabriel applies light resistance debuffs for Future Princess, heals, and gives Crit + Atk buffs to Future Knight for massive damage. She also provides some more light damage to better deal with any opposing Noxias. Future Princess chains quickly with Future Knight’s party buff, provides more heals and AoE stun.
Tanky Bari Nuke
Future Princess lead for maximum healing, fast chain speed, and AoE stun. Oghma improves the team’s survivability, and works especially well with Nari’s special ability. Bari can deal damage in colosseum without being at a disadvantage due to impaired movement speed while attacking, and Nari paves the way for her with her debuffs and Ranged party buff.
FK Basic
Future Princess lead for her chaining, heals, and AoE. Future Knight helps chain even faster, and deals a lot of damage when boosted by Idol Eva’s buffs. Oghma is along for the tankiness, but can be swapped with Nari for much more team damage potential at the cost of survivability and diversity.

This team is centered around Garam, giving him as much damage as possible through Bianca and Tinia’s party buffs. Tinia can use any water bow, but Marauder is a good option due to its high Crit, and the fact that you probably don’t have any spare Thousand Thunders lying around with Garam on the team.

Tinia can be swapped with Nari, but there’s a limited choice of water baskets.

While this setup is not ideal in terms of chain skill activation, it is currently the top damaging Dark Mono composition. Using Lilith as lead gives you the ability to perform (3) Chain Skills.

Timing of Lilith’s Secondary Skill (Darkness Spike) during high impact chains is crucial for optimal damage output due to the 6 seconds of Defense reduction.

Rotation:
Lilith > Beth > Lupina/Arabelle.

Alternative:
An easier, effortless playstyle to this composition uses Beth as the lead hero. This playstyle offers a “face-tanking” method during certain Raids such as the Invader Commander, allowing for continuous attacks with little to no movement. Due to Beth’s passive shield generation (via Predator) and Special Ability (Battle Instinct), she can survive nearly any attack without needing to move, allowing for maximum damage output. The drawback to this is the reduction from (3) Chain Skills to (2). However, the damage reduction is nearly negligible.

Hero Breakdown:
• Beth is a Melee powerhouse, capable of both dealing and sustaining an immense amount of damage. Her Chain Skill (Dark Invasion) offers a 40% increase to her attack while her Special Ability provides both a damage increase as well as an incoming damage reduction (15% up to 60%). Her Party Buff (+50% Melee Attack) further boosts her own damage as well as the damage of both Lilith and Lupina. Finally, Predator generates a shield based on 10% of Beth’s damage dealt as well as applying a 20% Dark Resistance Reduction debuff to the enemy, increasing damage dealt by the entire team.

• Lilith further boosts the Melee Damage buff from 50% to 100% through her own Party Buff, affecting herself, Beth and Lupina. Lilith’s Secondary skill (Darkness Spike) applies Demon Queen’s Emblem which reduces the enemy’s Defense and increasing Lilith’s attack by 20% for 6 seconds (via Special Ability, Demolition). This debuff will stack with Beth’s Dark Resistance Reduction debuff. Furthermore, using Darkness Spike in conjunction with her Chain Skill (Demon Clutch) will heal HP for all party members by 20%. Her weapon’s passive ability reduces her own damage taken by 20% as well as lowering Darkness Spike’s skill regeneration time to 5 seconds, allowing a near-constant application of Darkness Spike since it lasts for 6 seconds.

• Arabelle is Dark Element’s Glass Cannon. While she doesn’t benefit from Beth and Lilith’s Melee Attack increase, she does provide +50% Damage increase to Dark Attack, benefiting every member of the team. Her Special Ability, as well as her personal and weapon passive abilities, only affect her own damage and movement speed and do not benefit anyone else in the Party.

• Like Arabelle, Lupina doesn’t offer much in terms of utility aside from increasing the entire party’s Crit Hit Chance by 36%. Her personal and weapon passive abilities only further her own damage. Fortunately, being a Melee Damage dealer (who attacks from a distance), she benefits from the +100% Melee Damage provided by both Beth and Lilith. Additionally, she benefits from Arabelle’s +50% increase to Dark Attack.

Accessories:
• Minotaur’s Necklace is the ideal choice for one or more heroes, but can be difficult to obtain numerous MLB copies due to the amount of Change Stones needed to roll for Dark damage increase.
• Mirror Earring of Nobility is an almost equally viable choice.
• Sharp Shooter should be used for any hero lacking either of the aforementioned accessories.

Merchandise:
• 5☆ Ice Witch T-shirts on the player-controlled Melee character (Beth and/or Lilith).
• 5☆ Mouse Nari Cushion on Arabelle.
• 5☆ Invader Mothership Replica or 5☆ Sample Statue of Bravery (dependent on current boss HP) on the remaining heroes (Lupina, Lilith, Beth).
• Yuze Photocard Set (any hero).

Cards:
• Extremely Salty Pasta (7% ATK) should be used on the player-controlled hero.
• 5% ATK Cards can fill any vacant slot.
• Crit Chance cards can be used in place of ATK cards for Lupina and/or Arabelle if desired.

This Mono Earth Team maximizes the usage and uptime of multiple defense reduction debuffs while simultaneously increasing the entire party’s damage through Party Buffs (100% Ranged Attack, 36% Crit Chance, 80% Skill Damage).

Rotation:
Kamael > Bari > Mayreel > Tinia

Hero Breakdown:
• Kamael is a staple to the Mono Earth team as he provides increased survivability through heals as well as ranged support with his Party Buff (+50% Ranged Attack) and a 20% Reduction to Ranged Defense (Circle of Life, Basic Attack Passive). Considering every hero in this team is Ranged, the benefits are evident.

• Mayreel has an immensely high ATK stat (increased by Kamael and Tinia). With her Special Ability (Communion), it gets further increased by 30% with Bari in the Party. Solaris’ passive ability applies a stacking 5% Earth Resistance Reduction debuff up to 4 times (for a max of 20%) upon a Critical Hit. Note that this debuff will stack with Kamael’s Ranged Defense reduction debuff but will not stack with Bari’s Earth Resistance Reduction debuff. Mayreel’s base Crit Hit Chance with Solaris is 14%. Paired with dual Crit Chance cards (6%), MLB Sharp Shooter (10%), and her Party Buff (36%), that gives Mayreel a 66% Critical Hit Chance. This strategy helps to ensure an increased application chance as well as maximum uptime of Mayreel’s debuff.

• Bari is a Glass Cannon. Her naturally high ATK stat is further strengthened by Kamael and Tinia’s Party Buffs. At the same time, she boasts an arsenal of self-buffs to her own ATK. She provides a massive 80% Skill Damage Party Buff as well as contributing an additional 30% Damage increase for Mayreel via her presence alone. Furthermore, Bari’s Chain Skill (Rose Grab) applies an Earth Resistance Reduction debuff of 30%. Note that this will not stack with Mayreel’s Earth Resistance Reduction debuff. Instead, Guardian Tales always applies the largest of the two debuffs. For example, if Mayreel’s debuff is already applied, Bari’s would override it. This helps to ensure maximum uptime of the Earth Resistance Reduction debuff between Bari and Mayreel.

• Tinia provides an additional +50% Ranged Attack for the entire team, further boosting everyone’s Ranged Damage to 100%. Her secondary attack also applies a Defense Reduction of up to 20%. This debuff will stack with both Kamael’s Ranged Defense Reduction debuff as well as the Earth Resistance Reduction debuff applied by either Mayreel or Bari.

Alternatives:
• Rue can be used in place of Kamael. If using Rue, use Mayreel as lead.

Accessories:
• Minotaur’s Necklace with Earth Stats (Kamael, Bari)
• Sharp Shooter (Mayreel, Tinia)
• Mirror Necklace of Riches (Any)

Merchandise:
• 5☆ Mouse Nari Cushion (Mayreel and/or Tinia)
• 5☆ Sample Statue of Bravery or 5☆ Invader Mothership Replica (dependent upon boss HP, use with Bari)
• Aoba’s Eye Mask (any hero)

Cards:
• Extremely Salty Pasta (7% ATK) should be used on the player-controlled hero.
• 5% ATK Cards can fill any vacant slot.
• If using Sharp Shooter, Crit Chance cards can be used with Mayreel for added critical hit chance to activate Solaris’ passive debuff effect.

While this Light Raid Team is not of a singular element, it maximizes the usage and uptime of multiple defense and elemental resistance reduction debuffs while simultaneously increasing the entire party’s damage through Party Buffs, Chain Skills, and Special Abilities.

Rotation:
Mk.99 > Gabriel > Eleanor > Nari
With increased Weapon Skill Regeneration speed (WSR), firing off a second Weapon Skill may be possible mid-Chain. This is completely fine and should not interfere with the rotation.

Hero Breakdown:
• Mk.99 is key to this formation and also needs to be the player-controlled hero for Weapon Skill Regeneration (WSR) purposes. Mk.99’s +50% Ranged Attack Party Buff pairs well with Nari’s same buff, further increasing every member’s Ranged Attack to 100%. Mk.99 also has a personal trait increasing it’s own WSR by 32% which benefits immensely by having both Omega Blaster and Mirror Earring of Faith with high WSR sub-stats. This allows Mk.99 to fire off Weapon Skills at an increased rate, building up ailment completion percentages which can be key to interrupting certain boss mechanics and maximizing damage output. Mk.99’s Special Ability (Tactical Command) further increases both it’s damage and survivability by 25% as long as it’s at least 3 tiles away from enemies. Try to keep Mk.99 at least 3 tiles away from the boss in order to take full advantage of these benefits.

• Gabriel has a naturally high ATK stat for a Support hero while also providing impressive healing for the party through numerous means. Both her weapon’s passive and her Basic Attack provide a decrease to Light Resistance which will stack with Nari’s Ranged Defense decrease. Keep in mind that this will not stack with Eleanor’s Light Resistance decrease but further helps to ensure maximum up-time of this debuff between the two heroes since Eleanor’s only activates during her Chain Skill. Gabriel’s Special Ability heals the party member with the lowest HP as well as increasing their attack by 30%. This occurs every 5 seconds, continuously providing heroes with a power attack buff. Gabriel’s Party Buff also adds 36% Crit Chance to the entire party which is always beneficial.

• What Eleanor lacks in ATK, she makes up for in utility. Paired with Gabriel, her heals further increase the teams survivability. Her Party Buff is split between a +40% Skill Damage boost that helps all party members, and a +25% Light Damage boost to 3 out of the 4 party members. Her Chain Skill increases everyone’s attack by 30% while also decreasing the enemy’s Light Resistance by 30% which will stack with Nari’s Ranged Defense decrease. Additionally, her Special Ability boosts her own survivability by providing herself with a 20% Defense boost as well as further increasing the entire team’s attack by 15% in this particular composition.

• While Nari is of the Basic elemental type and may see some disadvantageous circumstances, her skill set more than makes up for her potential drawbacks. First and foremost, she’s a Ranged Damage dealer who adds both a +50% Ranged Damage increase through her Party Buff as well as decreasing the enemy’s Ranged Resistance by 20% with nothing more than her Basic Attacks. Given every hero in this composition is Ranged, the benefits are evident. Her Chain Skill provides increased Crit Chance which is a nice addition, but certainly not game-changing in this particular setup. Nari’s Special Ability gives her an on-hit Defense increased of 8%, stacking up to 10 times for a total of 80% increased Defense. This helps Nari survive longer during situations where she may hold an elemental disadvantage while supporting this particular team.

Alternatives:
• Tinia can be used in place of Nari due to the similar debuff applied by her Secondary Attack (Defense decrease).
• FP can be used in place of Nari provided she does not have a shield equipped. With a shield, FP deals Melee damage. Without a shield, FP deals Ranged damage, thus being affected by Mk.99’s Party Buff.

Accessories:
• Mirror Earring of Faith (Any Light hero, preferably equipping Mk.99 with the version with the highest WSR sub-stat)
• Mirror Earring of Patience (Nari)
• Sharp Shooter (Any hero without the above accessories)

Merchandise:
• 5☆ Mouse Nari Cushion (Hero with the highest ATK stat)
• 5☆ Sample Statue of Bravery or 5☆ Invader Mothership Replica
• Eugene Bike Figure (any Light hero)
• Idol Eva Light Stick (Nari, if not using one of the above merch)

Cards:
• Extremely Salty Pasta (7% ATK) should be used on the player-controlled hero.
• 5% ATK Cards can fill any vacant slot.
• Heal cards can be used on Gabriel or Eleanor if extra survivability is needed, otherwise optimal DPS requires ATK cards.
• Crit Hit Chance cards are not needed due to none of the heroes having an enhanced base Crit Hit Chance, nor having any Crit activated passives.

More of a Ranged team than an Earth team, unless your Nari is being used elsewhere, in which case you can use Rue for her Earth Atk party buff to help the team earn its name.

If you do use Rue, your Gremory/Elvira will need to use an earth weapon. For Gremory that means another Mayreel if you have it, or Fairy Shelter Basket. For Elvira, there are a number of earth rifles to choose from, such as Merciless.

This build is flexible in terms of element, meaning you can fight the bosses your Guild struggles with the most.

If you’re able to, it’s recommended to switch any weapons that deal reduced damage to the element of the boss you’re facing, or if the boss you’re facing is dark, you can switch to light weapons to utilize Gabriel’s light resistance debuff.
