Marina is the youngest admiral of Adela Navy, a trusted ally of Kanterbury kingdom.
She lost her ship, Irmina, along with her crew to the invaders the day Kanterbury fell. The agony of losing her crew made her leave the navy and start a one-woman crusade against the invaders.
Marina's fleet was known to be the best of Adela Navy. Her precise and quick directions allowed the fleet to release deadly barrage to any enemy. She is also well known for her powerful swordplay. Despite her small body, she wields swords almost as big as herself with incredible strength. With her signature hookshot, she can even throw ogres around.
She may look aloof and cold, but that doesn't mean she lacks passion. She's just selective when it comes to what she actually wants to focus on. In other words, don't expect any attention from her unless you can make yourself her priority.

Suggested Weapon
ArmadaHer exclusive weapon is generally the best option. It maximizes her damage due to the matching element bonus, and has decent tank stats including Weapon Skill Regen Speed. Her exclusive effect increases her anchor's damage to 150% DPS and increases its splash radius. Its weapon skill deals damage periodically to enemies around her in a fairly large area, and she can continue attacking while it's in effect, making it good in automated battles such as Colosseum, Kama-ZONE, and Orbital Lift.

SilenceA weapon that gets some use on her in arena, as its weapon skill allows her to close gaps and it does Earth damage, which helps her fare better against Earth/Water opponents, including other Marinas.
OR
MurasameAnother PvP alternative that can help her win matchups against Earth heroes, but will make Water and Fire matchups more difficult.
Suggested Accessory
Mirror Earring of WorshipA solid option that is fairly easy to obtain and MLB. It gives Marina a good balance of defensive and offensive stats, but is difficult to get good rolls on.

Ice Queen RingGives Marina everything she could possibly need, with better potential offensive and defensive stats than Mirror because of its higher base Def. The downside is it's one of the hardest items in the game to MLB.

Ring of BeliefA well rounded option when not leading her if you don't have any of the other accessories MLB, or are lucky enough to MLB one of these.

Gold Pocket WatchA great starter option when using Marina as a lead or in Arena. Gives a decent balance of offense and defense, along with Weapon Skill Regen Speed.

Ring of FortressA good option if she's the only tank you have, and are not leading her. Provides her with the most base Def and a good amount of defensive stats.

…..for a hero that as being released ever since early days of GT, Marina hold her throne as one, if no, the best underrated Heroes in GT. She may sound simple on paper, but is because of it that she is great on her own, she having the highest def and HP stats in the game, she can do crazy stuff if played right.
Now a quick review, for those who started after FP release, Marina will be a no no for you, since she focus on Barrier and Arena the most, PvE will be her best spot, if u pair her with FP for insane HP barrier since after combat, Barrier is return as HP if a hero is low on HP
For those who want to play for fun, she is a great Off-meta, meaning that she have could be a problem to others meta character
Also KR gave her a buff, One is to speed up a bit her Salvo Skill and the second, YOU WILL NO CANCEL HER SKILL ANYMORE BY PRESSING THE DASH BOTTOM. that is all

~Marina is a strong pick after KR patch of August 13 with her dash icon fix
~She need high investment, so think before going all out, a MLB Armada put her where Lynn is at, reason? She will hurt a lot
~Marina Only weakness is single taunt and no HP recovery, but her Water shield does give some HP value back and in arena, it can be transferred over the next battle.
~Also, if paired with Crit party lead, her anchor will crit 3/4 of the time, and it will hurt a lot
~If u guys using her for PvP arena, Remember to chain after 2 secs when the enemy is down, this may cancel out any Upcoming WS and delay them as well

Maybe with the arrival of Veronica but that’s just one more person to overpower her, and the more heroes the lower she might become in number spot not letter/tier spot.

She’s still a really good hero for the arena (not a top one, though) and in every other case scenario there are just better heroes. No. You already have all that potential bonuses. Without shield you don’t have an opportunity between losing one stat or another. Also as f2p marina still have more toughness than princess with mlb mirror’s shield and accessory. May be for over-whaled account princess will have more toughness.

As someone who can’t stand Marina, there is no way she’s not the #1 ranked character. Number 7 in attack while having the #1 Def and #1 HP. She alone makes fire as an element irrelevant. She’s in a tier by herself.

When I was below Diamond 1, I definitely did think Marina was number 1, no doubt. But now that I’m in top 100, I can safely say that Marina is like the top 5-7 character right now. Maybe even lower since her role as a tank is done better now by Ogma and FP. She’s still good though. Also, remember she doesn’t have a shield. So while her defensive stats are the highest, it’s nothing special compared to other tanks.

hey, hope you somehow noticing my comments below, I have a doubt currently I have fp,ogma,marina as a tank option and bari, garam as a damage dealer. Based on your observation as a lategame player. Should I reset my marina and start building ogma pairing with fp or should I stick with marina and wait for another good tankies hero?

It really depends on how much synergy you want to have within your team. Marina is great as standalone while being complimented with other heroes while Oghma is just a BIG MEATY SHIELD that compliments other heroes with his buffs (works well with FP since she gives even more HP as a passive)
Tl;dr one is an offensive tank while the other is support tank.
BTW, DO NOT RESET MARINA

Also I got her ex weapon do I go for her or a different hero team atm is BARI fp NARI and Vero so I don’t think she’d work well in my team BUT I am stuck on passage one world ten so want help with that
