Dragon of the Vast Sea Yun

Yun is a dragon of the vast sea and a protector of the Devil Dragon's blood.

When Yun was young, her mother used to tell her an old story. It was the story of how three elder dragons and a hero joined forces to defeat the Devil Dragon and seal it's blood deep in the sea. It was through this story that Yun first found out that it was the duty of her kin to guard the blood of the Devil Dragon. But before Yun could fully comprehend it all, her mother, a former protector, suddenly disappeared.

The reason Yun volunteered to become a protector was not only to fulfill the duty of her kin but also to resolve the questions she had about her mother. Yun's senior, unaware of this fact, even questioned why she would volunteer for a task that wasn't particularly honorable or noble. Ironically, many of those who were ensnared by the blood of the Devil Dragon were former protectors. In other words, being a protector meant guarding the Devil Dragon's blood but at the same time being in the most susceptible position to it's allure. Although Yun confidently stated that as long as one's heart wasn't ensnared, it would be fine, in moments when she thinks about the disappearance of her mother, she worries that she too may drop the ball.

Yun is an idealist who wants to protect everyone without anyone having to be sacrificed. Although Yun clearly understands the reason for guarding the blood of the Devil Dragon, harboring discontent with the protectors having to be sacrificed in the process, Yun eventually decides to seek her own solution between the duty of her kin and personal values.

Being virtuous and strictly decorous, Yun might come off as a cold-hearted person. However, in truth, Yun is a well-known social butterfly among several underwater kinds. As a matter of fact, Yun has a close friendship with Sia, a mermaid whom she asks for help in times of hardship.
