Estel is a forest elf and defender who protects the forest and the Elemental Tree.
Forest elves are a race that live in the forest, coexisting with elementals and nature. Having formed a group of defenders with the mission to protect the Elemental Tree that provides vitality to the forest, they patrol the vast woods to defend it from external enemies. This closed-off situation sparked strong curiosity among humans and has even led to rumors of treasure hidden in the forest.
Estel, despite being the youngest among the defenders, is the most skilled in combat. With her exceptional senses, she can instantly detect the presence of distant enemies or read their breathing and pulse to understand their psychological state. Due to her immense confidence in her abilities, unlike other vigilant elves, she tends to be optimistic rather than overly cautious.
The Elemental Tree guarded by the forest elves contained the Elemental Essence, which bestowed power upon the chosen individual who had the potential to become the Elemental King. Then one day, the forest came under attack by a mysterious group intent on seizing the Elemental Essence. In the process, the Elemental Tree was destroyed, which caused the Essence to be scattered. Following the destruction of the tree, the vitality of the forest began to fade, plunging the elementals into chaos.
To revive the Elemental Tree, the Elemental Essence was required. Through deliberation, the forest elves deemed Estel, the most skilled defender capable of locating the Essence, to be the most suitable candidate to retrieve it. Entrusted with this crucial mission, Estel embarks on a journey beyond the forest, with the support and prayers of her fellow forest elves.
Despite appearing flawless in every aspect, Estel has one flaw: she is irredeemably tone-deaf. Since elves communicate with nature through song, they all possess heavenly voices. But as for Estel, her rhythm, tempo, and pitch are all in disarray. Consequently, Estel never sang in front of other elves, leading her companions to believe she is just shy about communicating with nature.
